We will be honoring up to a 24-hour cancellation policy for all travel stays through the end of the year (December 31, 2020). This will not apply to any pre-pay and Stay and/or nonrefundable rates.

WHAT ARE THE CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES?

Hotel Check-In is 4:00 p.m. ( From January 1st)

Check-out time is 12:00 p.m.

If you need to check in early or check out late, please contact the front desk and we will do our best to accommodate you, based on availability.

HOW FAR ARE YOU FROM THE BART STATION?

We are located directly across the street from the Downtown Berkeley Bart Station

HOW MUCH DO YOU HOLD FOR INCIDENTALS/HOW LONG IT TAKES TO GET IT BACK?

Incidentals is a $100 hold on your credit card. It normally takes 3-5 business days to be released. If you are using a debit card, the hold will look like a charge and those funds will be unavailable to you and may take longer to be released.

I HAVE A RESERVATION UNDER MY NAME, BUT I WON’T BE THERE UNTIL LATER TODAY. CAN MY FRIEND CHECK IN FIRST?

You may add any additional names to your reservation; however, they will need to provide an ID along with a matching credit card in order to be checked in.

HOW LONG IT TAKES TO GET TO OAKLAND/ SFO AIRPORT?

Oakland Airport is roughly a 30-minute drive where as SFO is about 45 minutes away. Typically, there is traffic in the morning headed into San Francisco and it could take up to an hour.

HOW FAR YOU ARE FROM THE CAMPUS/CAN WE WALK?

We are in walking distance of the UCB campus. It is approximately two blocks away. Less than a 5-minute walk.

DO YOU HAVE SMOKING AREA?

We are a non-smoking property and we do not have a designated smoking area.

DO YOU HAVE PARKING? WHERE CAN I PARK?

We offer valet parking for $45 per night. If you prefer to self park, there are public parking garages nearby that charge overnight fees, along with street parking that is available on a first come, first serve basis.

DO YOU VALIDATE THE PARKING TICKETS?

We do not validate any parking.

CAN YOU HOLD MY BAGS AFTER I CHECK OUT?

It would be our pleasure in assisting you any way we can. We can certainly store any luggage either before you arrive or after you depart.

DO YOU HAVE SHUTTLE SERVICE TO THE AIRPORT?

We do not have any shuttle service to the airport. We can arrange for taxi services.

DO YOU HAVE A REWARDS PROGRAM?

We do not have a rewards program, but do recognize frequent guests with room upgrades and additional amenities when available.

IS DOWNTOWN BERKELEY A SAFE AREA TO WALK AT NIGHT?

Downtown Berkeley has its share of transients. It's generally safe and we recommend continuing to practice safety habits.

WHERE CAN I GO FOR RUNNING/ HIKING?

Walking distance we recommend Indian Rock, Fire Trails, and Botanical Garden. If you are driving, we recommend Tilden Park, Lake Anza, and Joaquin Miller.

WHAT TIME DOES THE METER START IN THE MORNING?

Metered parking starts at 9am Monday – Saturday and ends at 6pm. Sunday is free parking.

IS THE STREET SAFE ENOUGH TO PARK MY CAR?

We advise that if you do choose to park on the street that you do not leave any belongings in the car.

HOW LATE CAN I CHECK IN?

If you will be arriving late please call or make a notation in your reservation. We will be on alert and you may check in whenever you arrive.

IS THERE A MINI FRIDGE AND MICROWAVE IN THE ROOM?

Ours rooms do not come with a mini fridge or microwave; however, they are available upon request.
